Our Civic Service was held at Holy Trinity Church on Sunday 24th September 2023. It was a delight to welcome parishioners along with dignitaries.

Among our guests were the Mayors of Cheshire East and Bollington Town Council, Bollington Youth Consort, David Rutley MP and representatives from Poynton Town Council, Disley, Pott Shrigley and Higher Hurdsfield Parish Councils.
Our Vicar, Simon Gowler, led an excellent service and attendees proceeded in a procession to Rainow Primary School where Cllr Alan Brett, Chairman of the Parish Council, gave a welcoming speech.

The Chairman was pleased to present Brian and Zara Fisher with a Civic Award in recognition of the outstanding contribution they have made to the Community.
There was an excellent spread of food with sandwiches provided by members of the Parish Council and some fantastic cakes received from the Womens Institute and Mothers Union.
We also welcomed our Rose Queen, Lizzy Cox and her attendants.
The Parish Council would like to say a big thank you to all residents who joined in to help make the Civic Service such a successful event. In particular all Members of the Womens Institute, the Mothers Union and Church Members.
